I photographed the Mayor at my Orange Avenue studio for several reasons- to meet him in person, to update my archives, and to have interesting new work for display purposes. Once past the introductions the Mayor relaxed and settled in. He had been spending time in the gym and it showed. No stranger to being photographed, he graciously gave my camera the behind-the-scenes unfiltered expressions I had requested, and which he delivered during our ongoing, and, for me, valued conversation.
